Why travel to and from on a Sunday?
Because on Saturdays in the Zillertal all motorways and major roads are completely congested, we offer you a stress-free arrival and departure.
How far is the lift from the apartment?
The lift is about 290 meters away.
You can reach it on foot via a walking path directly in front of our ski huts.
After finishing the descent, you can go directly up to the ski hut.
What elevation is the ski hut at?
The ski hut is at 1,708 meters and is probably the highest-altitude ski hut in the Zillertal Arena.
How does the payment work?
Upon booking, 20% of the costs are due. The remaining 80% must be paid 4 weeks before departure.
Is there an underground parking garage?
The underground garage (height 2.10 meters) has parking spaces available (for the 8-person apartment 2 spaces, for the 14-person apartment 3 spaces).
How many people can sleep in the ski hut?
In the large apartment (140 m²) 12–14 people can sleep, and the smaller apartment (78 m²) accommodates 6–8 people.
You can also rent both apartments together for up to 22 people.
When can the holiday apartments be occupied, and when must they be vacated on the day of departure?
Check-in during the winter season is Sunday at 3:00 PM, and check-out is Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Do I need to bring my own bed linen?
You will receive your bed linen upon arrival at the reception.
Do I need to bring towels and dish towels myself?
Towels can also be borrowed at the reception for a small fee (towel 2 euros and bath towel 3 euros).
Please bring dish towels and sponges yourself.
Are spices available in the kitchen?
Spices are not available.
Are there dish soap for washing and dishwasher tabs?
Dish soap and tabs are available in every kitchen.
How many lifts and kilometers of pistes are in this region?
There are a total of 52 lifts and 150 kilometers of pistes.
They were awarded by the Austrian Ski Federation.
The lift is in close proximity and can be reached while wearing skis.
Is there a ski school for children?
Yes, and right in the area

In the ski locker, is there a ski boot warmer?
The ski locker is equipped with an innovative ski boot warmer, which blows warm air into the interior of the boot.
This guarantees completely dry and warm boots.
Are there travel beds and high chairs for small children?
If needed, baby travel beds (without bedding) and high chairs can be rented free of charge.
Sleds and infant sleds can be rented at a reasonable price.
Can you rent children's sledges?
You can rent sleds without footmuffs at the reception for 6 euros per week.
Where can I get firewood for the tiled stove?
You can buy wood briquettes (10 kg) at the reception for 8 euros.
Is there a restaurant in Silberleiten?
Yes, for example with Gernot at Plattenalm, only about 340 m from your apartment.
During the day there’s plenty of Fun & Action with apres-ski and hut fun, and in the evening a refined dining restaurant.
Is there a TV in the living and sleeping rooms?
In the ski hut, there is an LCD TV in every bedroom and in the living room.
Is there Internet in the apartment, and if so, what does it cost?
Each holiday apartment has a free Internet access (LAN and WLAN).
How is the kitchen equipped?
The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, toaster, and kettle.
Which apartment in the ski hut has a sauna?
The 14-person apartment has a private sauna in the apartment.
The 8-person apartment has an outdoor sauna with a relaxation room.
Where can you shop for groceries?
A supermarket is located 4-5 minutes by car away.
We also offer you a daily bread roll service (at the latest from the Christmas week).
Can you vacation in Silberleiten during the summer as well?
Silberleiten, the welcoming mountain village in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region and the Zillertal Arena, is considered a tip for vacationers.
Whether for summer or winter vacations, the area around Königsleiten/Silberleiten and the Zillertal Arena offers something for everyone.

Are there enough hiking trails in the summer?
A network of over 60 km of well-signposted hiking trails at all elevations and 7 varied routes take you through the fascinating mountain world around Krimml, Gerlos, Königsleiten, and Silberleiten, Austria’s captivating alpine landscape in the Salzburg region.
Are the slopes suitable for kindergarten children?
It is a family-friendly ski area with easy slopes as well as for the more demanding skier and safe snow conditions until spring, in Silberleiten you can enjoy relaxed winter holidays. A ski school is on site.
Is the ski cellar locked?
Each apartment receives a key for the ski cellar with which you can lock and unlock it yourself.
Can electric cars be charged?
There is a charging station for electric cars at the outdoor parking spaces.
A charging cable is required for use, and payment is made by card.
Is there a cross-country ski trail nearby?
The 2.6 km long, groomed "plattenloipe" runs from Silberleiten to the Alpengasthof Filzstein and lies directly below our ski hut village.
